Enter the realm of Cornu Aspersum, let us shoot you with our love darts...then plunge into the depths of the flesh gelatinous and gorge yourself on boundless sensory journeys, engage in olfactory discourse, gustatory alliance and tactile bacchanalia.

This performative play space will see us reenact the initiation rites of the Dionysian mysteries. We will open a portal for all who fall outside of normative society to enter a secretive and subversive cult, a mystical marriage to the beast god within. We return to the primordial in order to transcend. Join our ecstatic colllective ritual, dedicate and sacrifice yourself with us to unbridled pleasure through nude dancing, wild flagellation, sensual lounging, chthonic dreaming.

In this workshop we will focus on playful techniques to craft a persona, leaving behind any expectations of producing concrete results or scenarios. We will start working with our own bodies, then integrate the objects, architecture and others around us. For many, one obstacle to role play is “performance anxiety”, the feeling that one will not have enough ideas or freeze up in the middle of everything. Freeing ourselves from this expectation is what allows us to be creative and have fun while getting in touch with still unknown sides of ourselves.

In this workshop we will explore objectification beyond a conventional understanding of simply treating someone “as an object” or as a way to dehumanize them. Drawing from performance research, kink tecniques, object oriented ontology and the tidying methods of Marie Kondo, we will experiment with ways in which objectification can be a practice centered around care, respect or worship and discover how it can be a pleasurable and liberating way to expand ones notion of play.
